For the safety of both merchants and their customers, some business types are prohibited from using Payanywhere. By accepting the Terms & Conditions and creating a Payanywhere account, you agreed that you will not accept payments for or in connection with the following businesses:
Payanywhere reserves the right to modify, alter, or change this list at its sole discretion at any time with or without notice. When your Payanywhere account is approved, that approval is provisional. Payanywhere may ask you for additional information or documentation at any time and at our sole discretion. Types of additional information requested may include items such as: a detailed description of your business, government-issued identification, invoices for transactions, business bank statements, and other similar documents. Continued use of your account with Payanywhere requires complying fully with these requests.
Payanywhere is currently available only in the United States.
Payanywhere offers two pricing plans, Pay As You Go and Custom.
Pay As You Go
Per the Payanywhere User Agreement, merchants who do not process a transaction for twelve (12) months will be considered inactive and will be subject to an inactivity fee of $3.99 beginning the 13th month of inactivity, and each month following, until processing resumes. If processing is resumed, the inactivity fee will no longer be charged until the next twelve (12) month period of inactivity.
Custom pricing is available by contacting a sales rep.
By default, Payanywhere deposits funds within one business day of sales processed by 10 PM ET. Transactions processed after Friday 10 PM ET will be funded the following Monday. Amount funded will be less processing fees.
Same day funding: If eligible, you can contact Customer Service to enable same day funding.
Your Closing Settings are displayed in the Payanywhere app and Payments Hub. If you would like to select your own auto batch time or manually close out your transactions, you may contact Customer Service to change your Closing Settings.
Multiple accounts are different from adding users to a single account.
For example, people who might have multiple accounts are those who have one for their business and one for individual use. You can apply for an additional account on shop.payanywhere.com.
To add additional users, please see Payments Hub → Employees.
If you have multiple accounts, you will see the DBA, DBA Street Address, and MID for each when logging in to Payments Hub.
To view your accounts on Payments Hub, you’ll see them displayed when you expand the menu. The name of the active account will be displayed, and there is a dropdown arrow for you to see the rest of your accounts.
Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security that requires a password and a passcode/security token in order to log in to an account.
Phishing & Spoofing Scams
Phishing and spoofing scams are when identity thieves posing as a legitimate company send you an email asking you for personal account information, either by asking you to reply or directing you to a fake website.
